I MAKE
EXPERIENCES
HAPPEN.

I turn ambitious ideas and ordinary spaces into experiences people can walk into, interact with, and remember. From the first sketch to opening day—with the production experience to manage the budget, the team and the deadline.

Featured project · October 2026 · Galleria Edina, Minnesota

An empty retail space. A whole lot of Minnesota music.

MADE HERE / HEARD EVERYWHERE

I helped bring together a roomful of Minnesota music history, collections, voices and technology into a public experience that people could explore—and become part of themselves.

Working with DEMO and the Minnesota Music Archive, Hennepin Arts, Galleria, First Avenue, MNSPIN, the Minneapolis Sound Museum and a wider community of musicians, collectors and contributors, I shaped the visitor journey, spatial flow, interactive storytelling and on-site production.

Built for a real space, a real budget and a real opening date. And refined as visitors used it.

Concept to opening day

Making the idea real.

The design work is only the beginning. I build the plan around the space, the collaborators, the budget and the deadline—then make it happen.

How I think about technology

Analog ideas.
Digital delivery.

The best experiences start with something human: leaving a note, sharing a memory, finding a clue, hearing a story. Technology should make that easier, not get in the way.

I've built my work around digital delivery of analog concepts. A guestbook becomes a living archive. A scavenger hunt becomes an interactive journey. A collection becomes a conversation. The interface matters, but the reason someone wants to participate matters more.

And none of it means much if it doesn't work on opening day. I plan for the real world: power, staffing, load-in, accessibility, reliability, guest flow and what happens when something goes wrong.

What I do

Big ideas.
Real-world budgets.

Pop-ups & exhibitions

Temporary spaces, cultural exhibits, retail activations and immersive environments that give people a reason to stop, enter and stay.

Interactive experiences

Touchscreens, digital storytelling, audience contributions, memory walls and playful technology that makes visitors participants.

Creative production

Concept, planning, fabrication partners, crews, logistics, installation and live operation. One creative lead who knows how to get it open.

Selected experience

Not my first opening night.

DEMO / Minnesota Music Archive
Stories out of the archive and into the room.

Public-facing exhibition experiences, interactive artist discovery and a developing statewide kiosk concept.

Brightline Interactive
Big stages. Hard deadlines.

Supervising technical production for interactive brand experiences tied to the Super Bowl/NFL, NCAA and MLB.

Corqueboard
Digital delivery of analog ideas.

Founded an interactive technology business making guestbooks, scavenger hunts, memory walls and physical spaces more participatory.

Treasure Island Resort & Casino
Experiences that have to work live.

Guest-facing promotions, operations and experiential concepts in a high-volume entertainment environment.

Development & live entertainment

From Off-Broadway
to international projects.

A career built around the same question, at every scale: how do we take a good idea and actually put it in front of an audience?

Marvel · New York City / Las Vegas / Paris
Entertainment experience development across markets.

Contributed to the development of Marvel-themed experiential entertainment concepts in New York City, Las Vegas and Paris, helping translate well-known stories into physical, audience-facing environments. Development work—not a claim that every proposed location opened.

The Producing House · Off-Broadway
Original live entertainment, produced for the room.

Produced immersive, audience-centered live entertainment through The Producing House, drawing on theater, creative development and hands-on show operations. Work that depended on getting the details right, every performance.

From entertainment development to pop-up exhibitions, I work at the intersection of creative vision and operational delivery: scopes, schedules, budgets, vendors, technical systems, crews, rehearsals, installation and live execution.

The way I work

Small team.
Big reach.

I lead the creative direction and bring in the right people for the job. Not a giant payroll looking for something to do.

For more than 25 years, I've worked across theater, live events, international production, brand experiences and interactive technology. I've learned that a good idea only matters if you can make it real.

I work directly with clients, assemble trusted designers, fabricators, developers and production crews when needed, and stay involved from concept through opening day. That keeps the work flexible, the costs controlled and the experience at the center.

Based in Minnesota. Available locally, nationally and internationally.

Booking creative direction & production conversations

Let's make something worth showing up for.

A pop-up, an exhibit, a brand activation, or an idea you haven't quite figured out how to build. If you have a space, an audience, a budget or an opening date, I can help you figure out what is possible—and what it takes to deliver it. No elaborate brief required. Start with a conversation.
